What hides under that name? Unusual block of building remind us a war bunker. Gray and massive construction stands out of the old, historical buildings. But the Bunker of Art is first of all the gallery. It came into being in 1965, and it's one of the most important cultural institution which represents modern art.

The Bunker of Art presents world modern art, but at the same time promots polish, especially cracovian artist. You can see there exhibitions of classical world and polish artists.

One of the form activities of institution is organizing meetings with the frame workers of Bunker of Art's Club with presentations, discussions and projections of films. In every year gallery organizes the World Press Photo exhibition.

After sightseeing you can rest in cafe Bunkier, next to gallery. I recommend evening's coffee, because then the atmosphere is the most magical!
