In a few places in Cracow to this day hangs a torches extinguishers, which was a light illuminated Cracow's streets in the past. It were simple stone blocks with holes for torches. In the morning the guard extinguished torches and put in there. You can see it by entrance of Cloth Hall from st. John Street, and by Sławskowska Street and Kanonicza Street.
