Just 50 years ago Bronowice was the village. Today it’s a district of Cracow. In this small place Rydlówka is hidden- the Museum of Młoda Polska ( period in literature and art). Rydlówka was home of Polish poet Lucjan Rydel. But why exactly this building is so famous? In 1900 took place the most famous wedding in Poland. The wedding of Polish bourgeois with usual peasant woman, because in hat time in Cracow was famous a peasant – mania.

One of the guests of this weeding was a cracovian writer Stanisław Wyspiański. He wrote about this event, trying to build a image of Polish society, and political problems of Poland for that time. The book bacame one of the famous in Poland. In 1973 Andrzej Wajda directed a movie, based on book: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CIoplgmzJSE

Up to this day in calm corner of Bronowice stay a Manor, when the wedding took place. You can go and see it! Inside you can find furniture and decor characteristic for Cracovian vilages. Very colorful place!
